Should I sue my orthodontist?

I've had braces for too long and I don't like them. ): Should I sue my orthodontist for taking too long to fix my teeth.

I've had braces for 4 years. And they're still on.

I HATE IT OMGGG!

You can't sue. You're teeth need the time. He probably put them on too early so you have them longer not that he took too long.

Each person is different, your jaw is literally changing it's bone structure to make way for your teeth. If it's taking too long, it's because your jaw is very slow in changing its structure. Your orthodontist can't do anything about that.

Should I sue my orthodontist?

Both my son and daughter's braces took 8 years each. Their mouths were just stubborn. My daughter ended up having to have jaw surgery as her mouth wouldn't correct with braces alone.

No you cannot sue nor should you. If you are suppose to wear rubber bands that you remove and you aren't then the fault that it is taking so long lies with you. That is what happened with my sister. She didn't go to her appointments on time and never wore the elastics. Her teeth were never correct and she had to sign a paper stating that she didn't cooperate.

don't worry

if your orthodontist want to go fast and force more to your teeth,

it would make you bothering and reverse effect and absorbing your teeth roots.

Re: Should I sue my orthodontist?

A long time for your braces would be due to the malocclusion. You should be patient with your braces, as ultimately your teeth will get in shape.
