Dental assistants and sometimes ortho. techs. Which are basically dental assistants that have been trained in orthodontics.

What are those ladies who help orthodontist called?
They are called dental assistants who work for an orthodontist. Depending on the requirements in your state (US), some have to be either certified (COA) or licensed to treat patients.
