New community pharmacy enhanced service templates published – influenza vaccination a

As part of the new community pharmacy contractual framework, the PSNC, the Department of Health and the NHS Confederation jointly developed a number of template service specifications. These are intended to support PCTs in the commissioning of services; they will also assist Local Pharmaceutical Committees and community pharmacy contractors in the development of new service proposals for discussion with PCTs.Two new specifications have now been agreed and can be downloaded via the links above:• Seasonal Influenza Vaccination (EN12)• Patient Group Directions (EN13)Please also see the link to the PSNC website for a list of all the other currently available specifications.
