New York or Columbia University Medical School?
Hi all.

I am currently a sophmore biology major in college. I am interested in attending NYU or CU med school after I graduate ( I want to become an anesthesiologist). I was just wondering what I should do to prepare myself for med school and the MCAT(ie. research, internships, etc.) so I won't be so unprepared. Thanks!!
New York or Columbia University Medical School?
Here's some great info about the MCAT: http://www.columbiareview.com/htdocs_v6/mcat.html
As a life science major, your overall GPA is going to be important, but your prereq GPA's are most important. If you can, get to either NYU or CO and do volunteer work there. A letter of rec from MD's there will score extra points. The sooner you start volunteering the better. |
