What is IELTS and how to teach it???
HI, I have been assigned to teach the academics writing course and IELTS - never heard about it before and I have to TEACH the first class on this tonight!!!<br />I have taken TOEFL myself before and scored really high. Is it similar?<br />Can anyone tell me more about it please?<br />

What is IELTS and how to teach it???
yeah it's the same as TOEFL, just another English aptitude test. basically covers reading, writing and listening. you don't really "teach" it, all you can do is give review classes. If someone doesn't speak English or is a beginner, there is nothing you can do to raise their bands.
