It's a very general question you ask. The very general answer is a definitive YES. The supposed botany teacher above me is clueless. Be careful!

Don't think so - no reason why they should - they're only distilled water. It's debatable whether they have any primary effect, let alone any side effects.

All things ingested or applied to our body can have potential side effects.

Isaac Golden reports that out of over 1300 children who received generalized homeoprophylaxis for multiple diseases, approximately 10% had side effects, although the majority were very mild and brief. His results are from a survey in which only 70% of the population responded.

I've been seeing an osteopath who has been practicing homeopathy for about 20 years. Without going into all of my symptoms (too many to list) he started me on Phosphorous. It gave me a really nervous feeling after a few days- almost like I had taken too much of the wrong kind of cold medicine- not anxious- just shakey and fidgety. He then switched me to Belladonna- the shakes went away but now I'm super dizzy- almost have the spins. I'm curious if others have had similar results with homeopathy- I know that it can stir up some symptoms but I want to know if they will just go away after awhile or it means I'm on the wrong rememdy. Thanks in advance!

Of course, all of our traditional prescribed and otc medicines have a list of side effects that could make you sick just reading them.

Nope....but they don't have any effects either. Homeopathic "medicines" are 100% water or other inert ingrediants.

To understand this, you need to understand the basic theory (cough...cough...bullshit...cough...cough) of homeopathy. That is that the "energy" of substances that cause symptoms like what you have is passed on to water when vibrated and diluted down to nothing. The water is mixed with something solid like sugar and sold as a medicine. Your body responds (it does nothing of the kind) to this energy by working harder against the disease processes that cause similar symptoms.

It's all BS and I challenge any homeopath to show any treatment effect of any kind based on this paradigm under experimental conditions.
