Well I don't really know a whole lot about homeopathy, as opposed to simply focussing on what exactly chemicals do, their reactions, etc. But if you're looking to avoid an SSRI, I think I can help.
Many people aren't aware of this, due to the new trend in diagnosing people as depressed, but depression isn't always so needing of medication. Here's some things you can do. -Make sure you get enough vitamins (B vitamins especially!) B 12 in particular is basically a miracle vitamin and getting that will often cure depression bouts that you randomly have. (Try taking 25mg of each B, and 25mcg of B12 (A B25 pill should have all of this included) Or just a multi with B's in them. -Get plenty of sleep -Exercise! Exercising releases many endorphans, that if seen daily will really make a large impact on your overall feeling of well being. And finally, try to get some books on improving the way you live. The Power of Now by Eckhart Tolle is good, as are many by the Dalai Lama. If you live life cynically and pessimistically, depression is just a biproduct :) |
