jt's response was very eloquent...wouldn't change a word.
I would agree that the ailment should be considered when pursuing a homeopathic treatment (for example, I don't believe I would turn to homeopathy for cancer), but I have had some moderate success treating hypothyroidism and minor depression. The regimen my doctor prescribed was LOTS of vitamins (rather costly - up to about 32 pills a day, including Natrum Mur, multis, and Advaclear), and a natural (vs synthetic) prescription thyroid. It did help me overcome "the blahs" that the hypo caused, and I was successful with needed weight loss because of the combination of vitamins and improved diet. Overall, I am very happy with my homeopathic treatment, and, to answer your question, for me, it does work. |
