It is my experience that if people believe strongly enough about something that works for them, no one can move them. When testing new drugs, scientists use a test group of people to see how the drug will react. They also give a placebo, or "sugar pill" to a certain number of these people. Some people actually feel some relief with this phony pill, convinced that this "drug" was really strong. Some people are just naturally convinced that an alternative cure works as well or better for them than the "normal" cure. That's why aromatherapy is so big. Often, if we smell certain smells, it can relax some people, relieving them of stress, headaches and other ills. I knew a guy, who's friends conviced him that the grape juice they put in a wine bottle was actually wine and he got drunk! Some people would be right to claim that homeopathy remedies work...for some people. If it works for you and makes you happy, healthy and satisfied, why would that be bad? Just because you don't spend thousands of dollars on the cure doesn't make it less effective. I use heat, relaxation and hot tea to overcome most of my migraines. When that doesn't work, I go for the meds! But, the other works more often than not.
