whats the cheapest 2nd hand care that is safe? bout

$4000 worth? i only got 4000 bucks for a car. i want it to be real safe. any suggestions? people suggested old 1990s volvos.

Go to the library and look in consumers reports magazines. They rate used cars. Really good info there.

i would suggest a older Buick, in 2004 i bought a 1994 buick lesabre for $3800.00, and it only had about 70,000 miles on it and it runs really good havent had any major problems with it since i bought it, i have had all buicks and they are very reliable and good running cars.

Ford Taurus (five star crash rating) also easy to work on. Great handling and good in the snow. Don't buy anything General Motors they suck.
