Baldness - natures way of getting you to be

violent? I've never known people's attitudes change so drastically towards me as in these past 6 months since my hair started receding.

Regardless of the "Bruce Willis is sexy. It's fashionable" bull-sh*t arguements going bald has the effect of having other blokes rip the piss out of you and repelling women - fact.

So it got me thinking, it must have a point. Then I look at the army, the bald movie heros, the skinheads of the 70's n 80's etc. n think "violence". Basically, when you start going bald the following happens -

1. People taunt you more thus making you more angry.

2. You get laid less, testosterone overload.

3. You have less to grab onto in a scrap.

4. You generally feel meaner.

So basically, is going bald natures way of saying go n kick some **** up?

i think some bald men look quite distinguised. HOWEVER! don't do the come over or leave hair round the sides of your head with a shiny bald top! not a good look. bald men can be hot and there are plenty of women who think the same.
ignore the baldists!

You've rationalized it so well! Maybe over rationalized it? The story I've always heard is that as you grow older your hair grows in as well as out. . .if it hits gray matter it turns gray, if not it falls out! :P But seriously, I think the attitudes and such would happen with age anyway, but the baldness may intensify it all. The tough guys shave their head for hygeine purposes too. . .not many men like to put time and effort into making their hair look nice. But then, there really are some women out there who find a bald head attractive.

I am sorry to hear about your bad experience with becoming bald. I don't know how I would react if I started to lose my hair but, my husband is bald and i think he is so sexy. I love the whole testosterone overload cause my drive is off the charts sometimes. My hubby started losing his hair when he was 22 and still wears hats in public. He comfortable with me and even enjoys a little ribbing because we all have our own problems. My advice is shave it all, comb-overs are not sexy. If you come to terms with it and have confidence it will be easier for others to accept. You will find someone who accepts you as you are if you accept yourself first.

Being bald ...most of my life... has never gotten in the way of how real women look and react to me... not being conceited... but I've always been with beautiful, sexy women. Todays women know there's more to a real man below the hairline !
