It might be the food your feeding him. There is not one food that you can buy at the store that is healthy! Go to petco or petsmart and try Nutro. It is a wonderful food and will help his skin and coat!

I've been a pet groomer for 19 years. There can be many reasons for Dry skin. I would not give your dog any medication or switch food with out seeing a Vet. Oatmeal shampoo works good also, look for shamoo with no SOAP. Make sure you rinse all shampoo out.

He's probably got food alergies. my dog has them, she did the same thing. if you tke him to the vet they're going to do an allergy test whichis outrageous in price. try switching his food to a lamb and rice formula. it's more expensve but it'll probably clear your dog up. i use eukanuba lamb and ricde and it helped my dog. he's probably allergic to the chicken in the foods. most dogs are
