I am a computer engineer from India &amp; want to do my MS in astrophysics either in US or UK.<br /><br />My 1st question would be if this was possible by just taking the general GRE?<br /><br />Or should i take subjective GRE i.e, in physics?<br /><br />Or is it impossible for me to change my stream at this stage?<br />

Subject GRE is not must. But you can take it to make your case stronger.

Well Gre general is ok for your admission. as u has different background, so i think admission would be difficult as changing a stream is really difficult and MS is a specialization of your previous studies. so think to settle down in computer industry or plan for MBA etc
