I recently graduated with a B.S. in Computer Science with a low GPA of 2.4. I am planning on starting a graduate school in Spring. Should I take GRE general test or computer science one? I usually suck at English sections in standardrized test....and I feel like I would be able to perform better on computer science one then general test...and if I get a good score wouldnt it weigh more in admissions process then a good score in general test?

it depends on what score the school is looking for. most colleges will ask for the general gre rather than the specialized test or they will ask for both. you likely will not get out of taking the general test. do your best on it and i would suggest taking the specialized one as well to send both to schools that way if you dont do well on the general they will also see the specialized one. if you do better there it may show you would still succeed in grad school in their program. be sure to talk to the schools you are planning on attending to find out what they are looking for.
be sure to study for the test for at least 6 months before taking it. i thought i would do well on it without studying and i was sorely mistaken. there are quite a few study guides and practice tests that you can use. look at your local bookstore, they have a bunch to choose from. good luck!
