i am having a lot or root canal teatment and i am going to be sedated but i am worried that i might still be aware of what is happening and feel pain. will i be totally asleep and feel nothing or will i just be drowsy<br />

Depends on your dentist. Lots of time it is what is called "conscious sedation." In other words, you won't care what is going on and probably won't remember a thing.

You will just go to sleep and when you wake up your mouth will probably feel pretty sore. I had to have four teeth pulled in one day and they gave me the goofy gas. I relaxes you and makes you feel lightheaded and weird. But belive me you are lucky to get that stuff.

wow your being sedated for a root canal,i wsn't sedated for either of my root canals,and still didn't feel a thing ,the most aggreviating part is your lips and stuff being numb afterwards.

Why don't you call them and ask whether you are being put under general anesthesia or just being put into a twilight state?<br />
Maybe they will give you the option.

Don't worry if you scream in pain and make it heard at least three rooms away they will stop and do something else.

Ive been sedated once before and you just are awake but your totaly relaxed and i cant remember annything about it<br />
