Should I drive after having a root canal treatment done?
If you are having them knock you out, then no.

If you are only getting numbed for the procedure, which is the standard way to do it, then it is perfectly fine. The novicane does not affect you in any way other than to make you numb. |

Should I drive after having a root canal treatment done?
probably not. you most likely wont be able to focus 100% on driving, because your mouth willl hurt or feel weird. I would advise getting a ride. good luck with it!

Should I drive after having a root canal treatment done?
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!

I TOTALLY RECOMMEND U NOT TOO!

IF U GOT KNOCKED OUT WITH THE LAUGING GAS, HELK NO, AND EVEN IF YOU DIDNT YOU ARE GOING TO BE IN TOO MUCH PAIN, BESIDES IT RECOMMENDED BY THE DOCTOR TO HAVE SOMEONE ELSE DRIVE YOU THERE AND PICK YOU UP! |

Should I drive after having a root canal treatment done?
depends on the quantity of anesthetic you received. if it was a one dosis only... no problem, if it was more and you feel dizzy or tired, than have someone accompany you and drive or take a cab.

good luck and hope it does not hurt !!!! |

Should I drive after having a root canal treatment done?
Certainly if you are having a general anaesthetic, you should have a driver .....................
However, if you are having a local anaesthetic, it is not needed in most circumstances. However, saying that, if you have an emotional problem with dental care of any kind...........it might be a good idea. The procedure is time consuming and some people are very tired after ward. |

Should I drive after having a root canal treatment done?
As long as they aren't giving you gas or putting you to sleep you are fine to drive.

A root canal is not as bad as everyone makes it out to be. |

Should I drive after having a root canal treatment done?
If the Dentist uses Nitrus Oxide all affects should be worn off before you leave the Dentist office. They should make sure before you leave that there are no effects.
There is no reason you cannot drive yourself home.
Dentists use enough anesthesia to prevent the pain factor before you arrive home. Take some ibuprophen before the anesthesia wears off. That will help also. |
