Are you trying to save it? Put the broken part in milk. Are you having pain? Use orajel and over the counter pain meds.

If you need help with the pain you can try Orajel (I think that is how you spell it). I used it when I had a toothache it really works well. You can find some at a drugstore, grocery store, some gas stations, etc.

As many already said, get to the dentist immediately if possible. A lot of them (especially cosmetic dentists) can even apply a quick-fix patch until a full filling is put on. Aside from that, many pharmacies sell some dental cement-type stuff, so I would head to a Walgreens or CVS or whatever and ask where it might be. Of course, that depends on the severity break in the tooth.

Ibuprofen for pain Actamenaphin wont touch it. Try wax, like for braces. Eat on the other side. And brush and rinse with mouth wash to keep out food that can damage the tooth left.

If you have a regular dentist he may call in a prescription for a strong pain reliever(such as Vicodin or Darvocet), especially if you are in severe pain and have to wait awhile to be seen. Though, in the past, my dentist has always given me an emergency appointment. Try your local hospital, some of them have dental clinics for emergencies.
